About Me
Very early on in my life, as I was being raised in the countryside of Quebec, I developed an intimate connection to nature. This connection has inspired me to understand how a healthy lifestyle is important in every aspect of my life.
Cooking has been my passion ever since I was little girl. My mom still has pictures of me making cookies when I was just 3 years old. Of course, I kept cooking during my teenage years and as a young adult my affinity with nature began to manifest itself more and more into my culinary creation. Family and friends got to appreciate my food. I, on the other hand, was lacking creative fulfillment because I was so very dependent on the recipes in my cookbooks.
Driven by my desire to learn more and my love for the art I decided to make cooking my career. I began searching for cooking schools in May 2008 and after 2 days I knew exactly to where I was bound. In July 2008 I left for Boulder, Colorado and attended the School of Natural Cookery where I learned to cook intuitively, without recipes. After 6 months of combining raw talent with precision technique my knowledge of cooking and my understanding of ingredients grew immensely. I knew my unrefined, basic, talent had blossomed into competent artistic ability. The desire to share my creations with the world on an intimate level was instrumental in my decision to follow up my previous training with a personal chef training course and more recently a teacher training course.
To this day I continue to share my succulent creations with an appreciative clientele. A very important aspect of my business is the promotion of health and well being and I always endeavour to be a living example of this lifestyle. I look forward to the time when I may share my lifestyle and great food with you.
I reside in beautiful Vancouver, B.C. with my wonderful husband, Richard and our little dog, Marvin.
